    Company Admin: Virtual card requests and approvals

    Company Administrator is designed to be an overseeing role of someone who would manage your account at company level for: accounting codes, source cards, reconciliations, team creation and membership -  but not the day-to-day activity of card requests, approvals and usage.

     

    This role can, however, approve any’ v-card requests through the dashboard, rather than have an approval tray or notification.

    Team Owner role is designed for a user who would manage the settings and membership of one or more teams, and still have abilities to request and use virtual cards for themselves.

     

    If you are currently set as Company Administrator, and any additional “team based” role:

     

    If you should remain Company Administrator only, then no action is needed - you would be unable to create requests or cards for yourself, however you can approve any request by locating from the dashboard > activity area > pending to approve, decline or access the request itself

    


    

    

    

    If you should be ONLY Team Owner or Manager - you'd have ability to: manage the team members and team, to create and approve team requests, but unable to manage any of the settings at company level or create new teams.

    If you will be moving to a Team Owner or Manager role only, a different user would be needed in the Company Admin role, in order to manage those activities (could be yourself, if you are allowed by your company to use a different e-mail address). 

    

    1. Determine who would be the Company Administrator role - can be someone newly invited, or an existing user can be "promoted" from a different role. This will change their abilities to create card requests for self, and how they would approve others' requests.
    2. Invite or promote the selected user to be Company Administrator. Instructions are found by clicking here: How do I change a user role?
    3. After  a different Company Admin has been invited or promoted, you can remove yourself from that role by clicking the X at right of your name on the Company Settings >Overview. 
    This will set your role to Team Owner or Manager instead, of designated team(s), and give you the ability to create requests for your own cards.
