If a virtual card needs to be cancelled, it can be done in the following ways:
The card’s original approver can search/locate the card in their approval tray, within the “Approved” tab - then click “cancel card”
Additionally, Team Owners can cancel cards for their team, and Company Administrators can cancel for the team or company, even if they were not the assigned approver.
This is done by their searching/locating the card within the Company or Team Wallet, and cancelling as below:
Once cancelled, the card will be invalidated and can no longer be used for purchases. It will shortly after be displayed as “cancelled” with card type showing in a red banner.
Note: While a virtual card cancelled through Go stops working immediately for new purchases, transactions or data related to purchases in process or not yet settled will still process.
Please contact your merchant directly if you need to cancel a v-card transaction.
Settlement data usually arrives to Go 24-72 hours after a purchase is made.
