    How do I create a team?

    Company Administrators can create teams within your account, and invite team members:



    1. Company Settings

    2. Teams

    3. Create new team


    Team Information:


    This area is where to build your new team’s settings and choose virtual card options for Members to use in requests.


    Here, you will also choose a source or parent credit card for the team from your company’s existing source cards, or you can enroll a new source card for this team’s use with corporate or p-card.



    1. Enter the team’s name (must be unique)

    2. Enable any card options available, by switching on or off (see our “Cards Overview” article for a detailed explanation of single-use, multi-use and subscription card types)

    a. Locked options are set at company level and cannot be changed in a team view

    b. Default Maximum Approval Limit is at first set by the company limit; lower the limit here for a team

    3. Source Cards

    a. Click to choose from available company cards

    b. Click to enroll a new source card for this team

    4. Save and continue


    Add People


    The next step is to invite others to this team, in the “Add People” section.

    Company Administrators can invite all the team members for all roles; however, it’s only necessary to invite a team owner, who can then invite the rest of the team.

    Determine which type of user you are adding, based on the role description, then invite:



    1. Click Invite People, which will allow you to add the user’s detail


    Fill in the new user details, click the Role field to set the user's role.**

    1a. Enable self approval, if the user can approve his or her own requests

    1b. Or choose an approver from the dropdown menu


    2. Click “Send Invitation.” (Invited user will receive by e-mail)


    **If user is already on another team, the name fields will populate - you can then set the role and send invitation - user will receive notification of new team addition


    User could remain on multiple teams, OR can be removed from a team  by going into the team settings > People and clicking dots at right of the team, to access the removal option.


    User's existing, active virtual cards cannot be transferred to a different team, cancel any active cards prior to removing the user from the team.
